Tevar (English: Attitude) is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Amit Sharma and written by Gunasekhar. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles. It is a remake of director Gunasekhar’s 2003 Telugu film Okkadu, starring Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika Chawla. The film is scheduled for release on January 9, 2015.

Tevar has been rated low by most critics. Raja Sen of Rediff rated the film 1 and wrote, ” And since one can’t, in all good conscience, let anyone stray into Gangs Of Jockeypur, consider yourselves warned. Stay away” [12] Noyon Jyoti Parasara of FriedEye too ripped it apart, and gave it 2 stars.[13]
It got positive reviews too. Filmibeat.com called it “Tevariffic” and said Tevar has been marked for enjoyment and entertainment. [14] Desimartini.com gave it of 2.9 stars. [15] The verdict for the movie is “Been there done that, Tevar is far from Tevarrific!” Movie Jockey Smita says “A well paced movie with lots of action makes this an okay one time watch save for the irritating songs.”[16] kollywood.co Called it commercial masala and gave 3.5 stars[17]. It’s dialogues have also been appreciated, India Today says “The film becomes a watch because of it’s power packed dialogues written by Shantanu Shrivastava.”
